Medi-EHR Real World Testing

Real World Testing is a requirement of the ONC Health IT Certification Program. It requires developers of certified health IT to test certified capabilities under real-world conditions each year and publicly report the results, rather than relying only on lab-based certification testing.

Publishing the annual Real World Testing Plan and Results Report is part of maintaining ONC certification. It’s a public record of how Medi-EHR’s certified capabilities are tested in actual clinical use.

The Plan, submitted at the start of a testing period, describes what will be tested and how. The Results Report, submitted afterward, documents what the testing found.
